As reported in the Valley Advocate’s News of the Weird, Pacific University biologist David Scholnick put shrimp onto tiny treadmills and outfitted them with tiny duct tape backpacks and discovered that healthy shrimp could use the treadmill for approximately one hour before tiring. Now how is that for useless information? Next time your shrimp seems to be suffering from over extending itself, put it on the treadmill and see how far it can go!
